Two partnerships were selected to represent Great Britain at this prestigious International event. Chris and Beth and Cath, Rosie and Emily had earned their place in the GB Team by finishing in the top 4 at the British Championships earlier in the year.
The competition was a great opportunity for Chris and Beth to build on their experience in tne high pressure arena of international competition and they did not disapoint! The mixed pair took the Bronze medal for their Balance routine and finished in 4th place overall - a great achievement!
For Cath, Rosie and Emily this was a really important competition as they were competing against another Trio from GB; the event being used as a pre-trial by the National Coach prior to the offical GB trials for the European Championships later in the year. The girls performed 3 great routines to win the overall Gold medal in their category, along with a further Gold for their Balance routine and the Silver (just 0.05 off the Gold) for their Dynamic! It was a fantastic competition that bodes well for the future.
